Citizens Advisory Committee Recruitment Announcement

The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) is recruiting new members to serve on its Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC is one of MDOT MTA’s vital tools used to maintain consistent and responsive communication with our customers. The role of the CAC is to inform MDOT MTA on issues affecting our local riders and to advise ways to improve Local Bus, Light RailLink, and Metro SubwayLink services. The focus of the committee is systemic issues and not specific issues or complaints. MDOT MTA respects and values feedback provided by the CAC. Comments offered by the committee are considered when making final operational decisions. The committee consists of nine to fifteen members including a Chairperson, a Vice-Chairperson, and a Secretary. Membership is voluntary and members incur no debt. CAC meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 1 to 2 p.m. at MDOT MTA offices at the William Donald Schaefer Building, in Baltimore at 6 St. Paul Street. Meetings are open to the public who are provided the opportunity to address the committee. If you are interested in being a member of the MDOT MTA CAC, please submit a letter of interest to acampbell2@mdot.maryland.gov.

Candidates must be 21 years of age, a resident of MDOT MTA’s service area, possess familiarity with local transit services, and commit to active participation in the committee. New members are appointed by the MDOT MTA Administrator to serve a two-year term.

Sincerely,
Aaron Campbell

Argonne Dr Invoices

It was brought to our attention that invoices for Argonne Dr were mailed out with an error, charging monthly rather than annually. It’s taking longer than expected to correct the error, but I am working on getting the accounts corrected and new, corrected invoices mailed. If you are making a payment prior to receiving an updated invoice, please only make a payment for 1 year. If you have already mailed in payment for the full invoice, I will be in touch. You can also call me at 443-461-4622 or email me at GreaterNorthwood@gmail.com.
I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused!
